Concessions Chairperson Needed

posted Mar 1, 2010 6:27 AM by Web Master

A concessions chairperson is still needed for the boy's team this season.  Paula Widi and Mindy O’Brien (Coordinators for the Ladies team) have graciously offered to assist us with purchasing items for several of our home games (CYLA night, double headers with the Ladies Team and Senior Night) – however that still leaves 4 games where we will not have concessions.

Duties are listed below.  If you are interested please contact Deanna King.  The next home game is March 23rd so there’s plenty of time to get everything together.

Work with Girls Team coordinators to preorder Coke products each week

Make purchases for stocking the stand

Setting up stand prior to games

Making sure stand is staffed for games

Reconciling/counting funds at conclusion of game

Fundraisers

posted Jan 24, 2010 2:39 PM by Web Master   [ updated Jan 25, 2010 6:01 PM ]

Etowah Lacrosse currently has two fundraisers - Magazines and Candy Bars.

Magazine Fundraiser - Click the magazine image on the home page for more information.  This fundraiser will be ongoing so periodically send out reminders to your email contact list.

Candy Bar Fundraiser - Each player should pick up a box to sell. Monies need to be turned in by February 8.  Contact Jim Manderano to pick up a box.

The goal for fundraisers is to help offset the increasing costs associated with the lacrosse program. Potential costs include increased transportation costs for away games, purchasing new uniforms for Spring 2011 and adding JV girls and boys team in 2011. Our board is very committed to growing the lacrosse program while keeping costs to the parents reasonable.
